the Woodbine Rd. / Chumuckla Rd. Corridor PD & E Study. Santa
Rosa County has initiated this important study as the very first
step in the development of transportation improvements in this portion
of the County.
PD & E stands for “Project Development and Environment” and represents a study methodology typically undertaken by the Florida Department of Transportation. In order to assure that Santa Rosa County can qualify for potential federal and state funding to implement the study recommendations, the County Commissioners have opted to comply with this study methodology. This website
will provide you with key details and schedule information about
the Woodbine Rd. / Chumuckla Rd. Corridor PD & E Study. It
will be regularly updated to assure that you know what is happening.

The goal for this PD & E Study will be to establish the framework for needed future transportation improvements in the Woodbine Road / Chumuckla Road Corridor. This will include identification of the engineering design parameters, any required environmental mitigation features, preliminary construction cost estimates, and any new right-of-way needs.
